Price list（ 料金表）高校入試

休憩時間にスタバの前を通ると、「ストロベリーマッチフラペチーノ」の写真が目に入ってきた。

うまそうだけどね。640円！！いやいや、買わないわ。

スタバのコーヒー類もほんと高いよね～。世界的にコーヒーの値段は下がっているというのに。ちなみにラテの料金表を見ると、

• Short ¥340.
• Tall ¥380.
• Grande ¥420.

料金表といえば、高校入試問題でよくでるでしょ？平成30年度都立高等学校入学者選抜学力検査で、公園の入場料の料金表の問題がありました。 Aに入るのは下のア〜ウのどれでしょうか？

Cathy: Let’s go to Sakura Park this Saturday.

Mary: That sounds nice. There is a swimming pool there. I want to swim.

Cathy: Yes, let’s. Mary, there is a Japanese garden in the park, too. I want to enjoy seeing it with you.

Mary: Sounds interesting! I’d like to do both. How much will that cost us?

Cathy: I am a university student. You are a high school student. It will cost (A) for both of us.

こういった、会話文を理解し、図表から最適な答えを読み取るというのはおきまりの問題だよね。まずは、選択肢に目を通しておけば、問題文の読解の手助けとなるよ。

例えば、選択肢をみると~yenとかいてあるから、たとえCostという動詞を忘れても、値段を答えればいいんだなって分かるよね。そしたら、当然Price List (料金表)を見るよね。すると、今度は、行がAdult　、Childrenの区分で、列はGardenかSwiming poolの区分になっている。だから、本文を読む時に、この二人が大人なのか、子供なのか。どこに行きたいのかに注意しながら読めばいいんだよね。

上の問題で気になったのが、なんでCathyは二人の合計料金を言ったのか？普通友達同士ではお会計は別々でしょ？Cathyが全部払うから、「え～、料金は二人で　円ね」と言ったのかな。

ところで、中目黒に高級スタバができたよね？ 混んでいるんだろうねえ〜
